Ordered a stand for my fish tank but it was out of stock. I was offered a different colour but didn't want that so waited a week and then the one I wanted was in stock. It was sent out, however one of the panels was damaged on delivery. I sent an email and received a very quick response. A replacement panel was with me a couple of days later. The contact and customer service I received was excellent. I will definately buy again from Complete Aquatics.

The customer service from Complete Aquatics is nothing short of amazing. We've purchased some items from them and there was a part missing from the box. I completed an online form and then had some very detailed dialogue via email with an employee called Chris who sent us out the missing part.

Faulty internal filter caused the death of half my fish stock.

The filter failed without my knowledge which resulted in the death of half my fish stock.

I asked for a replacement in January as it had an intermittent fault, this replacement was refused as I was requested to sent it back... which would leave the aquarium unfiltered. (everyone in the hobby understands you cant leave a well stocked aquarium unfiltered, I would have had to purchase a temporary filter to use in the mean time which would render the return/replacement pointless..)

Unfortunately I cannot recommend complete aquatics as they fall back onto technicalities and "terms and conditions" when something goes wrong. No interest in the welfare of your fish stock, just here to take your money.

Today they offered to replace or refund it if I return it which is quite simply too little too late. The damage is done and the opportunity was there in January to put things right. I also find it disgusting there is no offer or allowance for compensation for loss due to faulty products they have sold! They also mentioned today that a discounted filter can be purchased from them while yours is being returned/tested. This was NOT offered to me in January, again, too little too late.

I have purchased a replacement at my own expense from a reputable local aquarium.

For reference, the tank is maintained weekly and water quality checked twice a month, I have a water quality log dating to the point of purchase as proof the fish didn't die from other causes.
