Staff are always friendly and helpfull whenever we go here. We've bought all of our fish from maidenhead stores and all seem happy and healthy. Our new little puffers are settling in nicely, still have 4!!! Thanks.

I bought pond fish food in the offer, "buy one, get one free". When my fish refused to eat the food, I asked if I could exchange the unopened tub for a different type in the same offer. They refused, saying that the unopened one was the "free" one and therefore couldn't be exchanged.
I shall be buying my fish food on line from now on.

Set off to drive nearly half an hour to get some fish and a couple of frogs for my aquarium. We hadn't realised the time so we checked and realised we would be getting there 15
mins before closing. To save any messing about we called the shop to tell them we needed some guppy's and 2 aquatic frogs and we would be there 15 mins before closing. We are about 5-10 mins away from the shop. The guy said he has put a treatment in the tank so he can't bag the guppies cos the treatment means there will be no oxygen in the bag for the 30min drive home. Strange but ok. I said in that case just 2 frogs for now. He replied that he has put treatment in every single tank so can't sell us anything but if we just go as soon as they open tomorrow then it's fine.

Now I could be wrong but I don't believe for 1 second they have put a treatment in every single tank. I don't believe My pet shop just mass treats every animal even if it's not in need of treatment and I don't think every single fish they have is sick. And if they were then surely tomorrow would still be no sale due to illness.
I know pets at home get loads of stick but even they make you wait a full week before buying if a fish has had disease or been sick.

I do however believe they employ lazy staff who couldn't be bothered to sell the fish or risk finishing work late. Which he wouldn't have had to. We were just wanting to grab the fish and leave.

I probably will still attend the store because the little frogs are quite hard to find but I'm definitely not impressed with the service.

Just had issue with my Fluval Sky LED Light, even without me been able to find my receipt for the original purchase they were able to find it using their instore system. Was swapped quickly for me for a new unit. Massive props to Carly and Johnathon for sorting what could have been an expensive situation out for me.
