-Closes at 10pm, not at 11pm as in Google Maps
o we came here last about six years ago, and most everything was the exact same as we remember before, even the exact wording on the train. But the kids did still enjoy themselves.
-the exhibits were a little lacking, maybe I was expecting a bit more like from the zoo. We got through the entire inside of the aquarium in about a half hour.
-the train attendant seemed like she really disliked her job. I feel like a little bit of animation and excitement from the worker operating the train would help bring it to life for the littles. She looked so mad to be there and just sat up on her car and didn’t interact with anyone at all except to scowl at everyone.
+They offered to upgrade our city pass for $6.50 additional per person, we went ahead and did that. It felt about worth it for a couple rides on the carousel, the Ferris wheel, the up & down ride, and the train. I don’t know the individual cost of each ride, though that would’ve been good to compare..
-I wish they had a little aquarium-themed roller coaster—that would be so cool.
+ we didn’t use their little splash pad, but if you have littles into that, make sure you bring their swim suits & a towel.
-their gift shop was a bit disappointing. A Bluey set, found on Amazon for under $15, was being sold for $25+. Their magnet selection was a major disappointment.. we like to collect magnets and didn’t get to buy one because they only had magnets with a bunch of names on them.

WARNING: loud video (my niece was crying).

This was such a nice experience. The view was amazing and the things we did were fun.

We rode on the train and got to see the sharks which was quite fun. The aquarium was nice, but short. It was nice to get steps in along the way, but wish there was more sea life to see. We got to the lion when he was sleeping so that was unfortunate. We also got to see and touch the stingrays which was kind of scary, but fun.

My sister and I got a drawing done which came out close and similar to us. I couldn't find the photo we took, but maybe I'll come back to edit this with it.

I’ve never been to an aquarium before, so my friend and I decided to give it a visit. For a first timer, it was interesting to see all kinds of sea creatures, although, we did spend about 30 minutes to go through the whole thing so I understand where people are coming from when they say it’s not that big of an aquarium. If you’re in downtown, you should give it a visit but if you live far from it then I’d suggest for you to do another activity. Even though we were only there for a bit, I did enjoy it! If you find yourself going in the summer, make sure to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen bc this Texas heat is no joke ?

A great place to spend maybe half a day. The kids would enjoy it seeing some rare fishes and the white tiger. You see the seahorses too.
The rides there though only few are enjoyable and they give multiple entry.
All together a good day out with family.

Not worth the price ( aquarium tickets and parking). It takes approx 10-20mins to finish the entire aquarium. Aquarium is on the 1st floor only, upstairs is the restaurant and outside has some attractions.

We love trains! This aquarium kinda sucked if we’re being honest, it was short and the sea life there was mid. BUT THE RIDES CARRIED. There was an epic Ferris wheel, drop tower, and mini train. Absolutely loved watching the sharks on top of us INSIDE the train tunnel. Also apparently a great white shark escaped and has just been chilling out ever since? I hope he doesn’t come out of the sewer through a hotel toilet!(check our other review on our hotels) 4 Stars!
