Popped in today so get some answers to some questions. Relatively new to reefing, so I had so much to ask. Everyone was so helpful, patient and friendly. I left with a realistic price list of everything I needed to get, some things to go away and think about and some things to double check. Honestly I rarely write reviews but everyone here is so so nice. I’m so glad to of made a good contact with a local store with such wide range of expertise. The shops was tidy, well organised and an absolute treat to look around. By far the best shop within atleast a 1.5 hours drive. You won’t find much better in England. If you’re struggling to find a good local marine store - this is the one. Cannot wait to get my whole setup through these guys, big well done on the customer service, hard to find these days!

Best reef shop in the country. All the staff are fantastic , always happy to help and with a wealth of knowledge between them.
Fish and coral stock is top notch with great prices to match for the quality you get.
Once you been once you wont want to shop anywhere else.

AAC is the best shop for corals I have been too, hands down. Yes some are rather expensive but others are fairly priced and what do you expect when your picking the best?

Fish wise I am a bit on the fence. I have a yellow goby who was amazingly well priced and is doing great. They also quarantine there fish prior to selling.

My concern was I bought a pair of clownfish and acclimated them slowly. They got brooknella and lost them within a week. I have had many clownfish prior to this and never had a issue.

Could easily be a fluke or oddity and hasn't put me off them. The team are knowledgeable and happy to tell you something is a bad idea, which is always a positive in this hobby.

Would be my go to if it wasn't 30 miles away and over Dartford tunnel / bridge

Update -18/09/24 - Paul spoke to me, honoured the value to a new clownfish pair. I spoke to Barry in store to see if I could improve my acclimation method and time period. Angie even gave my little daughter a fish based sticker. I have been fishkeeping on and off for 25 years. Nowhere has the dedication and heart this place has. Customer for life

AAC helped me by being able to order specific Red Sea parts for my tank very quickly with great communication.

I also recently visited the store and bought my first fish and corals for the tank, all the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and no question was too silly coming from a new reefer!

The shop is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, this is definitely my new go to reef store!

The fish I got are beautiful and seem very happy and healthy, the coral surprisingly opened and flourished within a few hours!

I can't wait to return to get more fish and corals and cannot recommend them enough!

Ive made a couple more visits since my first review and an delighted each time. Sirus has an encyclopedic knowledge of the fish available and the cats they need, always on hand with some care tips.
I was treated to a special visit to their propagration room where I could see how they breed and care for corals not ready for sale yet, I saw some truly amazing pieces but not sure how much I should say. These guts have their finger on the pulse! They are surely makes great waves in the industry. I even got a discount on my livestock purchases for being a repeat customer.
What can I say, five stars all the way!

First visit and blown away, amazing beautiful quality stock. Set out cleanly, staff eager to help. Was introduced to Barry who understood my new tank requirements and gave me expert advice, also saved me a few hundred quid on possible bad decisions. I'll be back. Highly recommended

I placed an order for a nano tank and salt. The tank arrived quickly and was expertly packed (including free Haribo)! Email queries have been answered promptly as well. Overall, I cannot rate the service high enough.

Support your local store!!! (Even if not local) Always approachable and knowledgeable. Amazing selection of fish and corals, both high end and bargains. Picked up 4 sps for £32 the other day, you won't find premium corals for as cheap anywhere else.
