I found Bobby on YouTube while researching DIY landscaping ideas for my home. I watched his videos on YouTube and was so impressed that I decided to purchase his full design package for my entire house. I couldn't be happier with my decision! First, let me begin my review by saying what a true joy it was to work with Bobby! We were referred to him by close friends who assured us we would not be disappointed.
After our initial phone call, we were impressed with Bobby's genuineness and approach to our project and scheduled an in-person appointment.
Before our meeting, we received photos of previous projects to give us some visuals of what Bobby believed might be close to what we wanted.
After our in-person appointment walking our grounds, we felt confident that Bobby's recommendations were in synch with our vision and proceeded to the next step of contracting for 2D and 3D project designs.
I expected to receive designs within a couple of weeks, knowing how time-intensive it can be to prepare computer designs. However, we received Bobby's designs in under a week, and the looks created for our different areas were outstanding.
As expected, a few tweaks were needed, and without hesitation, Bobby gladly scheduled a Zoom call with us. Our session consisted of minor changes “made on the fly," with the result being a design that captured our vision perfectly!
I have added photos showing how our various areas looked before work began, during the excavation phase, Bobby’s plans, and each area's actual finished look. As our landscape project was completed in late fall, many plants are without leaves and look slightly bleak compared to Bobby’s designs. So, I plan to update my review next year with leaves and blooms to show a more realistic finished comparison to Bobby’s designs.
The timeframe from our initial call and the project’s completion was just under a month, which included working around Thanksgiving week. Once started, the crew of (at most) 5 workers completed all of our areas within 4 days. We are incredibly pleased with the results. As other reviews have mentioned, the workers were outstanding, and you would be hard-pressed to know the messes made after their fantastic clean-up.
Bobby is definitely exceptional with landscape design. He was always available when we reached out, and his communication with us and his crew was excellent. Above all, Bobby listens to his customers, steps into their vision with them, and then creates a remarkable end result.
