Doctor Katz was good. What I find bizarre is the ditzy receptionist.

First time I was there, after talking with Dr Katz, I asked the receptionist if she needs my insurance information or if I make payment now. She saw as I were speaking in Russian, and after repeating myself three times, she asked that it was for billing departments. So I just left, expecting a paper statement in my mail.

Two weeks forward, I haven't got my statement yet, so I called Summit health urology and was transferred to this same lady (whose voice I remember). I asked plainly, "what is the due date for the bill from my visit?" Very normal, very frequent question, right? Hell no, this woman replied, "sorry I don't follow what you are asking." What do you mean, you don't follow? If you don't understand the question either send me to someone else or ask others. I clarified myself that I want to know what the latest date is for me to pay for the invoice, and this ogre brain instead tells me how much I owe. I almost gave up, but then I asked if I could get a paper statement. Then she replied, yes I can get a paper bill.

Of all the people I met in customer service (including myself because I was a desk assistant once), this woman has to be the most oblivious or deliberately incompetent one ever.

Dr Katz is a highly skill Urologist who I have seen for many years. He does not kick the can down the road. He identifies your issue and prescribes a plan that is aggressive.

Doctor Katz is knowledgeable and patient , however his front office staff is rude and not efficient. The woman that answers the phone could care less about the patients, her demeanor in person is not surprising since you can tell she doesn’t like her job. Katz is a good urologist, but there is no accountability for the staff.

Great doc. But his receptionists are very miserable and dont want to help you when it comes to making appointments etc. They just dont have customer service skills and seem not to want to be at work. They make you wait more than 30 minutes for every appointment to see the doc but when your running late they are quick to remove you from the system and do not offer any apologies when they screw up. They are very inconsiderate and have a "i dont care" nonchalant attitude. Ill be going else where from now on.

My appointment with Dr. Katz on February 13 was great, he was very professional and friendly, he answered all my questions. I found his staff to be friendly and helpful.

Was a new patient, I waited over an hour and a half and was told I might be up next after I saw patients come and go who came in after me. I asked politely if they had forgotten about me and I was told that I will be called within the next hour or so. After sitting for over an hour and half by myself in the waiting room I gave up and left. Completely disrespectfully of patients time. An appointment at 5:00 should be around 5:30 or 6:00 at the latest. Not 7:00 - 7:30 pm.

FYI - I was there at 4:40 and left at 6:30.

Don't bother if you are a new patient.
