Okay food, bad customer service, unhappy with credit card service charges

The food is okay. It's like Bodega food with more variety a a tad bit better.

Service is dry an unwelcoming. Feels like I'm a nuisance to them trying to order food. Attitude doesn't just fall on those providing the service, it falls in the owner. Perhaps staff is unappreciated and overworked. It always starts at the top.

Disappointed by the debit and credit card service charges. They make enough money.

I used to order from them 1-2 times a week but now I go there only when needed.

They could do better and represent the neighbor better. Too bad they don't.

Service is terrible. The employees who work here are really cold and not friendly. I used to go 3-5 times a week in the morning for months, ordered the same exact same thing every morning, and saw the same employees. They never got nicer and never bothered smiling or an attempt at remembering my name or order. I got fed up with trying to support local business and now I go to Starbucks where the baristas are much friendlier. Maybe because K&L is an institution in Jackson Heights but they lost my business. Don't take my business for granted, you still have to be nice. Great coffee, average breakfast selections, poor customer service.

FANTASTIC hidden gem in Jackson Heights - wow! Stopped by for lunch with my fiance and we were blown away. Even their coffee was an unexpected delight, and the mango lemonade was a refreshing treat to wash down the savoury meals. My partner even said the quesadilla was the best he's ever had. Ever. We also tried the K&L Chopped Cheese and K&L Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, fresh, and warm. It's a no-fuss place that operates quickly and certainly doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

They claim to have the best coffee in Jackson heights they definitely do not first at the register the girl is too disinterested to reply my good morning with one of her own the girls behind the are you busy on there phones to get my simple order of a small light and sweet coffee that came back black and bitter and when i came back to fix my order the register girl throws down a handful of sugar packets i say i asked for light and sweet she replys what you want more milk i ask for a stirer she points to a box of paper straws in the counter. Paying $2.50 for a small run of the millcoffee that's not made to my order plus a lot of attitude this place is a bust I will never return or recommend. Best coffee in Jackson heights what a joke.

The bagels are mushy, bread-like, and not real NY bagels. Bagel aficionados should not come here. Other than the bagel problem, everything else seems great here. My order was carefully executed. They followed my instructions perfectly.

Two Cents

Solid bagel - I got the bacon egg and cheese on a roll. Exactly what it says on the tin. Yummy. 10 bucks for a roll and small filtered coffee.

Great staff! Would come here again for my morning pick.

For atmosphere: Music is too loud and seating inside is not well spaced but the outside seating is great. But if you’re ordering to go that’s no problem to worry about.

Great sandwiches here. So far, I tried the Chicken Cutlet Plus hero and the Subway Series hero. Loved both. I'll be back to try everything else on the menu.

I think K&L has the best sandwiches in town. Their delivery is fast as well.

Also, one time I forgot to bring money and the owner, Peter, just told me to pay him back next time. I was really hungry and pressed for time that day. Thank you, Peter.

This is a great place. I am glad that they are around.
